Visit: Wave Generation

Published by Chris Comeau at 6:51 am under Photos

wavegeneration Earlier this month, I had a chance to visit Montreal’s Wave Generation (on Mont-Royal avenue), video game audio specialist.

Recently Wave Generation did a lot of the voice work for Ubisoft Montreal’s Splinter Cell: Conviction. They collaborated on the casting, recording, sound design and mixing for the highly anticipated sequel. They also worked on Assassin’s Creed 2, Army of Two: The 40th, Mass Effect 2 and a lot more games.

Special thanks to voice actor Vitali Makarov for demonstrating some scary Russian dialog!

It looks like an awesome place to work at; small expert team, professional equipment and tools, good location on the Plateau.

I took a few snapshots, but unfortunately I’m no photographer or interviewer…

Here is the embedded slideshow or watch it in better quality on Flickr. Enjoy!

Thanks to the Wave Generation’s David Lipes (and rest of the team), and Alex from High Road Communications for seting up the visit!
