The NAD Centre is entering the blogosphere and social networks

Published by Chris Comeau at 4:20 pm under News

CentreNAD Since last November, The National Animation and Design Centre (Centre NAD) started a blog in order to share and exchange with 3D fans, information concerning its programs, students’ work, graduates’ career paths, as well as its involvement in the video game, film and television industries, pertaining not only to education but also to its research and development activities.

“The blog’s editorial content is above all a showcase of our students and graduates, but also a place where knowledge and know-how is shared by all those who are remotely interested in computer graphics”, explains Albane Français, Communications Director. Thanks to the contribution of its professors, lecturers, students, graduates and partners, the NAD Centre hopes this blog will become a real live platform for its nearly 18 year old community.

In addition, each month, the NAD Centre will publish an exclusive interview with one of its graduates working in the digital post-production industry. “This editorial line is completely natural when one thinks of the number of professionals who studied at the NAD Centre and who now hold senior jobs in the video game or film industries,” comments Albane Français.

Also, the NAD Centre reinforced its presence on social networks by creating pages on Facebook and Twitter in which one can find certain items from the blog as well as exclusive content. “The blog and the social networks enable us to be in constant dialogue with our students, graduates and partners, to get their feedback and, as a result, to be more in tune with their needs,” adds Albane Français.
