Quebec Must Develop Niche Industries to Compete on World Stage, Experts Say
From economicnews.ca:
Hosted by the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, ‘Le Québec dans 20 ans : une vision d’avenir’ invited Quebec business leaders to debate the different issues the economy is currently facing and how it needs to progress to remain competitive 20 years from now.
While the discussion ranged from education to demographics, one issue became clear: 20 years from now, businesses in Quebec, as well as CEGEPs, universities and political entities, will have to have chosen niche industries to specialize in in order to keep a foothold, and even perhaps become leaders, on the world economic stage.
