IGDA Director Della Rocca Stepping Down
From gamasutra.com:
IGDA Director Della Rocca Stepping Down The International Game Developers Association revealed that executive director Jason Della Rocca, who has headed the organization for nearly 9 years, will resign from his position at the end of March to pursue a new venture.
Della Rocca plans to pursue a new venture that will require him to "strike out on [his] own and step away" from his role at the IGDA. He’ll reveal more on his next project after GDC, he said on his personal blog — "and no, I’m not starting a game development studio."
He admitted that he has suffered some fatigue over his long service to the association, and that he’s not sure he’s the "right guy" to lead the IGDA anymore.
