The gameplay is entirely different. There is no shared code between the two games (except for some trivial stuff), so it’s really a whole new game. It’s just that it is made out of recycled pixels

The alternative would have been me making the art, but your eyes would probably be bleeding by now so you don’t want that.

Good point! It does mention in the Gamma4 rules: “Pre-existing games will not be accepted.”

Not sure what the line is between “existing game” and “assets from existing game”. Hopefully the gameplay is different enough to be called a different game.
