From IGDA Montreal:

A note from the owner of a gaming art gallery opening locally:

gameartisansGameArtisans.org, organizers of world-renowned game art competitions, Dominance War, Unearthly Challenge and the Comicon Challenge, announces that it will open a Gallery Lounge in Montreal, Canada – February 2010. The studio, appropriately named Game Artisans, will showcase game art created by artists around the world and promises to be home to students, professionals and aspiring artists who come in to relax, work on projects, and chat with likeminded friends. At Game Artisans Montreal, a host of activities like 2d/3d sketch sessions, art workshops, guest speakers, and tech talks, will help keep members informed and help artists of all levels improve. Fredrik Hultqvist, the founder and organizer of the entire network of game art competitions online, will serve as studio manager.
