Congratulations Eidos!

From Eidos Montreal (via Twitter):

eidos-logo-new At a press conference in February 2007 Eidos announced plans to expand their business internally, hiring Stephane D’Astous to build a brand new World class development studio in Montréal. Stephane began with the construction of both a studio and an exciting game development team that would create a resource which would become Eidos’s biggest development studio.

By the fall of 2007 phase one was complete. Eidos-Montréal had opened the doors of their cutting edge studio, announced the first on their iconic brands, Deux EX and successfully moved the Eidos QA division to Montréal.

In their third year despite the economic climate, Eidos-Montréal continues to flourish. With the full backing of new owners the industry’s largest and most respected game developers Square Enix, Eidos-Montréal is working on phase three of the plan. The future is bright for Eidos-Montréal with an exhilarating third collaboration development project in the pipeline.
